Ryder has appointed Wendy Nicolson to the position of Rental Sales Executive for Scotland. Wendy will be responsible for developing and growing Ryder’s rental business from its Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Newcastle locations.

She was previously Customer Service Supervisor within Ryder’s Glasgow location. Wendy Nicolson brings to her new role nearly 15 years of experience in the commercial vehicle rental and leasing sector within Ryder and, prior to that, with Hill Hire. She joined Ryder in 2011 as part of Ryder’s acquisition of Hill Hire.

Wendy said: “I’m delighted to be taking up my new role with Ryder. I’m confident that Ryder’s offer to customers, including its 24-hour breakdown support and commitment to customer service, is second to none. I will be working closely with our Rental teams to build on the successful relationships we have with our existing customers, and to develop new business opportunities based on the strong Ryder rental proposition.”

In her new role Wendy Nicolson will report to Tony Nuttall, Ryder’s Head of Rental and Inside Sales.
