it will participate at the RILA (Retail
Industry Leaders Association) 2018 Retail Supply Chain Conference,
which will take place February 25-28, 2018, at the Phoenix Convention
Center in Phoenix, AZ.
Ryder Vice President and General Manager for Retail and Consumer Brands,
Tom Kretschmer, will moderate a panel session titled “Sneak Peek into
the Future: Digital Supply Chain.” In addition, Ryder Group Director for
Product Development and Innovation, Tom Kroswek, will be a panelist on
the same session where the two Ryder logistics experts will discuss how
future supply chains will rely on a strategic mix of innovative
technology to deliver end-to-end execution, control, and agility. The
session, which will be held on February 26 at 3pm CST during RILA, will
explore supply chain innovations, such as smart warehousing technology,
real-time visibility, big data, and the digital supply chain as well as
discuss how they’re expected to improve efficiency, visibility,
accuracy, and flexibility for customers within the retail industry.
